The numeric keypads used in ATMs, convenience stores, and other locations also use Topre's capacitive non-contact switches. The Realforce brand offers PC users the durability and reliability required for commercial terminals, with over 100 million keystrokes. Unlike typical membrane switches, the soft feel of these switches prevents bottoming out, reducing finger impact and fatigue.

The keyboard features Topre's unique silent switches. These switches are designed to be quiet, so you can type without disturbing others, even in a quiet room. They also reduce typing noise that can disrupt conversations during remote meetings.

Switch keymaps to suit your application and OS

Up to four keys can be swapped, so in addition to using them as a standard numeric keypad, they can also be used to switch tools when editing or retouching images or text, and are convenient for controlling multimedia. Also, if you use both Windows and Mac, you can instantly switch between keymaps suitable for each.

Intuitive and easy-to-use Japanese software

Settings such as keymap switching, macro settings, and APC functions can all be easily configured using the intuitive, Japanese-made software. Customising the keyboard to your liking without any complicated steps saves you time and effort.

Supports faster and more accurate key input

The APC (Actuation Point Changer) function shortens the position at which the key switches on while you're pressing it, allowing for faster typing. Using the separately sold key spacers makes the keys return faster, allowing for even faster typing. You can also increase the accuracy of your typing by deepening the on position of keys that are often pressed unintentionally.

Numeric keypad that prevents missing entries

It supports the "All Key Simultaneous Press Function" which recognizes all keys pressed at the same time, as well as "N-key Rollover" which inputs all keys in the order they are pressed.Even professional operators who input quickly can use it with confidence.

When you need to enter a lot of numbers on a laptop, such as for expense reports, tax returns, or sales input, you can take out the RT1 and place it anywhere you like, just like using a calculator. Its compact size makes it easy to carry with your laptop or store in a drawer. It also has a 00 key, making it easy to enter numbers with lots of zeros.

On-board memory allows you to use pre-configured keymaps even on PCs that cannot install software.

Your customized keymap and APC function settings are stored in the onboard memory of the RT1, not on the PC itself, so you can use your customized RT1 even on company or school PCs where software cannot be installed due to cybersecurity reasons.
